The structure of the injection mold is determined by the type of injection molding machine and the structural characteristics of the plastic parts. Each mold is composed of a moving mold and a fixed mold. The movable mold is installed on the moving plate of the injection molding machine, while the fixed mold is installed on the fixed plate of the injection molding machine. During injection molding, the movable mold and the fixed mold are closed to form a gating system and a cavity. When the mold is separated, the plastic parts or beer parts remain on one side of the movable mold, and then the plastic parts are ejected by the demoulding mechanism set in the movable mold. According to the different roles of the various parts in the mold, a set of injection molds can be divided into the following parts:
1, molding parts to give the molding material shape, structure, size of the parts, usually by the core (punch), concave mold cavity and thread core, insert and so on.
2. The gating system is the channel that leads the molten plastic from the injection machine nozzle to the closed mold cavity. It is usually composed of the main channel, the shunt channel, the gate and the cold material well.
3. The guide part is set to ensure that the moving mold and the fixed mold can be accurately aligned when the moving mold is closed. It plays a guiding and positioning role. It is composed of a guide post and a guide sleeve. Some molds are also set on the ejection plate. The guide part ensures the smooth and reliable movement of the demolding mechanism.
4. Demoulding mechanism A device for demoulding plastic parts and gating systems. There are many structural forms. The most commonly used demoulding mechanisms such as thimble, jacking pipe, top plate and pneumatic ejection are generally composed of ejector rod, reset rod, slingshot, ejector rod fixing plate, top plate (top ring) and top plate guide post/guide sleeve.
5. Mold temperature adjustment system In order to meet the requirements of the injection molding process on the mold temperature, a mold temperature adjustment system heating rod is required to adjust the mold temperature.
6. Exhaust system In order to smoothly discharge the gas in the mold cavity, an exhaust groove is often opened at the matching place of the mold parting surface and the insert.
8. Other structural parts refer to the parts set to meet the requirements of the mold structure (e. g. fixed plate, movable/fixed template, support column, support plate and connecting screw, etc.).
